As always, sleeping pets make great models -
First a third of an inch of rain and then couple of days of snow, with snow needing to be plowed off the driveway twice, I notice the several way it collects itself on various surfaces.
On a scrap piece of watercolor paper, I did a multimedia sketch - pigma pen, watercolor and colored pencil - sketch of a sunrise over the Sapphire mountains. In the Winter, sunrise appears from behind the mountains down South, way to the right of the house, and as the seasons progress tracks to the North to mark the start of Summer at the center of the deck.
