As I look out the window at the soggy hillside today, we've gone past an inch of rain for the past two days with more to come. On the way home this morning from getting the mail and having breakfast at The Loft, I looked to see if there was any snow on the roof of Downing Mountain Lodge, but snow levels were still at the very tops of the peaks, so it was still showing red.
By the second week of November we went back and forth between rain and snow.
On the 7th the snow was across the valley in the Sapphires -
Snow on the ground brought more deer around to the deer block that was sitting just outside the office window.
