Yesterday I finished limbing the higher branches of the big fir tree with the pruning saw. Not easy to maneuver with its long handle on the bank and in the ninebark brush, but I got that done and the good sized pine tree next to it. I wanted to do some more raking on the opposite bank of the draw, but my back was telling me otherwise - save it for another day. So there's another good sized pile of tree limbs to burn in the future; as usual, weather permitting.
