UW Botanical Art Exhibit

Two of my photographs of beargrass, xerophyllum tenax, were chosen for an upcoming show at the University of Washington's Botanic Garden's Miller Library.

The exhibit will run from March 1, 2012 until March 31, 2012, and will be on display during the conference "Conserving Plant Biodiversity in a Changing World: A View from NW North America" at the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, Seattle, WA March 13-14, 2012.

The photographs were taken in the summer of 2009, on one of our trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Montana. It was one year when the beargrass was in profusion, so there were several photo taking opportunities.
